Wheel of Life

About the Wheel of Life

The Wheel of Life, also known as the Life Balance Wheel, is a powerful tool for life and career planning. Developed by Paul J. Meyer, who introduced this framework to assist individuals in assessing and enhancing various aspects of their lives. The Wheel of Life consists of eight domains including career, money, health, fun & recreation, family & friends, significant other/romance, personal development and physical environment.

Benefits of using the Wheel of Life

Self-Reflection: The Wheel of Life encourages introspection, prompting you to evaluate where you currently stand in different facets of your life. This self-awareness is the first step towards meaningful change.

Identifying Priorities: By assessing each area of your life, you can identify which aspects are most important to you and deserve more focus and energy. This clarity helps you prioritise your time and resources effectively.

Goal Setting: Armed with a clear understanding of your strengths and areas for improvement, you can set realistic and achievable goals across various domains of your life. These goals serve as guideposts on your journey towards greater fulfilment.

Tracking Progress: As you make changes and progress towards your goals, the Wheel of Life serves as a visual tracking tool, allowing you to monitor your growth and celebrate your successes.

Course Correction: Life is dynamic, and priorities may shift over time. The Wheel of Life enables you to regularly reassess your life and make necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing balance and alignment with your values and aspirations.
