Lisa LaRue Career Coach

Lisa LaRue - Career Coach

I’m passionate about human flourishing and use coaching, training and mentoring to help people achieve fulfilling careers they love. My approach is integrative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I bring empathy, humour, compassion, creativity and curiosity, partnering with you to co-create your ideal life and career.

I am an EMCC-Accredited Master Practitioner Coach and CDI-Registered Career Development Professional (RCDP) with over 20 years of experience. I have worked in a variety of settings including consulting for organisations, career and employment services, outplacement, education and training. I’m driven by a genuine passion for helping people achieve fulfilling careers and seeing them flourish.

With extensive training in the field of career development, career counselling and career coaching, I have supported thousands of individuals through one-to-one and group programs to have amazing careers. I’ve coached people from a wide range of sectors including IT, engineering, banking and finance, arts and culture, education, retail, hospitality, tourism, and healthcare. I also have experience in the charity and third sector where I have coached people at all levels.

My approach is integrative (career development, coaching psychology and positive psychology), strengths-based and solution-focused. Clients describe me as being engaging, supportive and professional with the ability to expertly help them navigate their way to career success.

I am also a trained and experienced business coach with many years’ international experience in helping people launch and grow their businesses.

How it all began

I started CareerWorx in 2004 so that I could more fully support people in their careers. While I was employed as a career coach and career development consultant for my talents and track record of success, I often felt like I was only helping people find quick and temporary fixes for their career issues rather than sustainable solutions that would see them thrive.

Since then, I’ve clocked up over 5,000 coaching hours  working with hundreds of clients around the world to achieve successful, fulfilling careers they love. Over the years I’ve partnered with numerous other expert career coaches to deliver career development programmes, training and outplacement support with great success and lots of positive feedback. Today, CareerWorx offers support in the UK, across Europe and beyond.
